It has been a while since I last updated the blog; haven’t really been playing World of Warcraft; I definitely don’t find it as fun as it used to be back when I played 2004-2009. I guess I get bored of things rather easily on these past years.
Tried making other alts, like a Shaman (Alliance) and a Mage (Horde), but even tho it was slightly interesting, at the end it was meh.
So, almost a week ago I decided to quit again and cancel my account. I could probably keep playing very casually, but at this point I don’t really feel that it’s worth paying the $15 monthly fee, which could probably be used somewhere else.
Unless I post something else before Christmas and New Year; Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to y’all!
Ever since I saw one of those Cloud Serpents I knew I wanted one. Today that goal has been reached (a lot faster than expected).
It’s so cool because the other cloud serpents that are in-game are probably un-reacheable for me at this point. I chose the blue one, but it doesn’t really matter because you can end up buying the other two options (still, IMO the blue and the green are the best looking ones from these options, the other one reminds me to the Horde. Maybe if it was a bit more red instead of orange-ish).
I sort of hoped that my alt could also use it, and even tho it’s accessible, it’s useless without the cloud riding skill :/
A couple of minutes ago my main, Gahlok, finally reached level 90 (after three years, yeehaw!). This is considering that my newly (and so far only) alt on Thunderlord, Rihal (a Worgen Hunter) was already a 90.
Managed to level him from L85 to L90 solo as a feral druid, mixing normal questing and instancing, taking me up to three days (and I reminded that back when I created him —Mal’Ganis—, I was proud that he leveled mostly on instances).
I also realised that the new instances (at least those available at L85-L89) are not melee friendly. There’s so much going on that you have to keep moving (thus, dropping DPS). Oh, and I officially hate the Shado-Pan Monastery.
And then, coming back from quitting the game almost three years ago, I keep saying to myself that so many things have changed that it’s confusing.
As for upcoming plans, no clue. The guild I am right now doesn’t raid, I heard that most of the people transferred to another server (before I got into Thunderlord, so no, I wasn’t the reason, ) — and I still remember how it was on the old days, with my current work schedule I can’t really be a hardcore raider like before—, so I guess I’ll be doing some random stuff. Gotta cap again enchanting and jewelcrafting on Gahlok, also read that jewelcrafters can make some new mounts, might try that as well.
