Woot!

Well, I presented my project today and I was one of the ones that got the highest score. There were two judges, and both of them gave max points :) My presentation lasted around 20 or 30 mins, and I was the third to go :) The whole event lasted around seven hours. So we all had to wait until everyone was done to be able to get out.. hehehe.

I was checking out the stat of the CE (they have been sold out in every online store I’ve checked, for weeks, like Amazon, EBGames, GameStop and Walmart). I sent an email to Blizzard and this is what they told me:

Hello,

We have seen an overwhelming demand for World of Warcraft, both the Collector’s Edition and the regular release.  A number of smaller stores and retailers have already sold out of both editions, and some others even gave pre-orders they were unable to fulfill.

The Collector’s Edition for World of Warcraft had a limited printing, and while some stores and locations may still have copies available, it is becoming increasingly hard to find.  We are working on shipping more copies of the standard edition of the game as quickly as we can, but do not have any estimates for when these will be available generally or in specific areas.

If you are concerned about a pre-order status, we strongly recommend following up directly with the retailer with which you placed your order.  Hopefully retailers will be able to rectify these situations as they occur, either through an actual copy of the game, or a refund for the pre-order.

If any official news is posted regarding newer editions or any reprinting of the Collector’s Edition, it will be announced on the official website: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com. We are also offering the standard edition for sale in our online store located at http://shop.blizzard.com.

If you have gotten a copy of the game and have any issues whatsoever with creating your account, installing the game, or playing it, please visit our support site for assistance: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/support/

Sorry!

I’m really sorry and I apologize for the lack of updates. The reason is that this month, december, is a bit tuff for me, considering that it’s my last month in college and I’ve been working in a few final projects, the main one, is the most important because that’s the one that will kinda matter for my graduation, I got to write a 50-paper thing for some stuff, then I got to present it (blah blah) the 18th (saturday, 8am), and after that I’ll be free! :P If everything works out, I’ll be graduating on April (I finish classes on december, graduation will be four months after). I’m kinda finishing the 50 pages or so, then I have to get ready for the presentation and I also got to work on another presentation for some other class.

As for WoW, this site won’t be dead. I would like to finish my college stuff first and then try to get into WoW. I’ll possibly be ordering the CE soon (before Christmas for sure).
