Ok, going to today’s story, lately I’ve been instancing a lot in Scholomance, I just needed Shadowcraft Bracers and Shadowcraft Cap to complete the set. There have been days that I’ve instanced twice, and some of it is because Blizzard made the instance a bit easier now, so runs don’t take as long as they used to take. Still, getting groups to go is pretty hard itself. The downside of the “nerf”, as some may call it, is that, with less mobs, there are less drops. Last night (Sunday) I went twice to Scholomance, this was the first group I got in…

I always thought that Constructs, mobs that are before Rattlegore, one of the bosses in that instance, are the only ones that dropped Shadowcraft Bracers, and since the instance is easier now, there are less of them. In fact, there are no constructs in the way to Rattlegore (before there used to be at least four of them). Usually groups fight two or three of them before going for boss, and considering that bracers are a pretty rare drop, chances are that it won’t drop at all.

At that point, I only saw bracers dropping once, and no cap at all (damn cap is an uber rare drop -_-). Anyways, we did pretty nice, and in the room of the six bosses before the main one, guess what dropped?

I was shocked. In first place because I had no clue that Malicia can drop them, and second because the other rogue that was in the group already had them. I was a bit concerned about Shadowcraft Cap dropping on that run because I would have already used my set call, but decided to use it, yay! For good or for bad, the cap didn’t drop on that run, damn. So, as I’m writing this, I have 7 of 8 pieces of Shadowcraft Set! I decided to give the bracers a +9 STA enchant.

I’ve been in countless Scholomance runs, and I have yet to see the cap dropping. There have been even times that I’m the only rogue on the group T_T If I’m not wrong, Dreadmist Mask (Warlock’s Cap) is the one that drops the most, then I’ve seen Wildheart Cowl (Druid’s Cap), Devout Crown (Priest’s Cap) once saw Beaststalker’s Cap (Hunter’s Cap), don’t remember what else has dropped, I’ve never seen Lightforge Helm dropping either (Paladin’s Cap) I guess I need to keep trying It has to drop, someday T_T
