Well, I was playing, the whole thing froze and I had to quit the program. When I tried to get back, the server was not there. I waited… the server was still not there and Blizzard wasn’t posting what was happening. I posted a thread in WoW’s Forums, it got deleted inmediately. The second time I tried, it got locked.
Ages later, Blizzard posts what happened.
We are restarting the Mal’Ganis realm shortly to resolve performance issues. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
It was so fast for them to delete and block my threads, yet took them a while to fix servers. Then they say they had to restart it without warning players that were online at that time.

Well, they don’t want hundreds of “where’s the server?” posts up, it clogs the forums and pushes other threads down the list. I don’t really blame them for that.
But it would be nice if they posted warnings before doing this sort of thing, so the people who get kicked can see the official statement and avoid posting questions.
Sorry to hear about your guild. We just merged into another guild, and are much, much happier now.
I agree with L’Emmerdeur on why your posts got deleted. You and probably 12 dozen others were posting the same type thread.
As to them taking too much time to post a reason, I for one would rather them work on the problem than tell me the problem exists!(i already know it exists…i can’t logon!)
I believe they know everything there is to know about the status of their servers at any given minute, and if players would just wait patiently, quit trying to logon, and monitor the forum for the status of the server, things would possibly get fixed faster.
I am sure when a server goes down, they have 2 priorities: 1) Get the server back up 2) keep the forums up so that when it is fixed they can let their clients know!
Don’t mean to rant, and i don’t want this to sound aggressive towards you, I enjoy reading your Blog from time to time, I just needed a place to vent!
