New Druid Talents Preview!

Yes, it’s not a joke! Blizzard changed Druid’s Talent Calculator with the new talents that will be comming in Patch 1.8 !!!

There’s a new form: Moonkin, but the bad thing is that it’s all the way down in Balance /cry

Caydiem was also very nice to inform about this in WoW Forums, check out her build! :P

Meh, I want Moonkin Form :(

Moonkin Dance

Ehh, I’m editing this post too much :( I can’t really tell because I’m not an expert, but IMO, with the new Moonkin Form down in Balance, probably most people will be moving to balance to get the form. Resto and Feral druids are going to be affected because some talents were moved around, some have been changed. It’s really sweet that a change is comming, but I want to see how it will affect my way of playing, considering I want Moonkin Dance :P The talents are making the difference between the roles a bit more noticeable (healer, tanker, etc.). Moonkin Form is more like a “group” form rather than a form that would be used for a solo play-style.

Moonkin Form – rank 1/1

Minimum Level: 40
Requires 30 points in Balance Mastery
684 Mana
Instant cast

Transforms the druid into Moonkin Form. While in this form armor is increased by 360% and all party members within 30 yards have their spell critical chance increased by 3%. The Moonkin can only cast Balance spells while shapeshifted.

The act of shapeshifting frees the caster of Polymorph and Movement Impairing effects.

BBC NEWS: Deadly plague hits Warcraft world

(By Mark Ward — Technology Correspondent, BBC News website)

A deadly virtual plague has broken out in the online game World of Warcraft.

Although limited to only a few of the game’s servers the numbers of characters that have fallen victim is thought to be in the thousands.

Originally it was thought that the deadly digital disease was the result of a programming bug in a location only recently added to the Warcraft game.

However, it now appears that players kicked off the plague and then kept it spreading after the first outbreak.

Since its launch in November 2004, World of Warcraft (Wow) has become the most widely played massively multiplayer online (MMO) game in the world.

Its creator, Blizzard, claims that now more than four million people are regular players.

Lol.. read the rest here.

WoW’s Servers, the most stable of all!

Well, I was playing, the whole thing froze and I had to quit the program. When I tried to get back, the server was not there. I waited… the server was still not there and Blizzard wasn’t posting what was happening. I posted a thread in WoW’s Forums, it got deleted inmediately. The second time I tried, it got locked.

Ages later, Blizzard posts what happened.

We are restarting the Mal’Ganis realm shortly to resolve performance issues. Thank you for your patience in this matter.

It was so fast for them to delete and block my threads, yet took them a while to fix servers. Then they say they had to restart it without warning players that were online at that time.

OMG! -_-

/sigh
