Bandwidth Conserving

Posted by: Gahlok In: Frostbolt.com

I’m sorry, but I’m turning off “Full Text” on RSS Feeds, changed it to “Summary”. Need to conserve as much bandwidth as possible for what is left of the month (I already got a bandwidth warning… hehehe). I apologize for this, but it’s better IMO keeping the site up than the bandwidth blowing T_T

If the bandwidth blows, tho, I also apologize before hand. By the way, I got 4 GB of bandwidth.

How much bandwidth per month do you go through? I have a huge hosting account with dreamhost, and might be able to help you out.

Not sure that’ll help. As an RSS reader of your site, I now have to load the whole page (including header graphic) to read each entry.

Please let us know if turning off the full-text helps. I’d be interested to see if you really notice a change in your stats!

Hey,

I’m pretty sure that if you go through feedburner (www.feedburner.net) caches your RSS, saving your bandwith.

You’re blog is awesome, keep it up!
