It’s a bird… it’s a plane…

I’m not sure if it was monday or tuesday, but in one of those days my druid hit level 68, getting Flight Form ^_^ It’s so much fun ^^ Before I got the form I found this FAQ in WoW Forums, really nice information there. The things I liked reading in the forums :P

Will I still need to buy Expert Riding skill in order to buy Artisan Riding skill to ride a flying epic mount?
No. Once you train for Flight Form, you automatically gain Expert Riding skill. You save yourself 800g.

Can I shape into Flight Form while in mid-air?
Yes. It’s instant-cast.

If I activate Flight Form while falling, can it save me from a fall that would normally cause me to die?
You bet.

Can I go AFK while in the air, and be safe?
Yes, doing this is your safest AFK method.

Can I jump off a cliff and go into Flight Form?
You bet.

Can I fly over alliance bases to spy on them?
No. My only experience with this was flying into a base, being marked with a hunter’s mark by a guard and being dismounted and nuked to death. I was not dumb enough to try it again and I recommend you don’t do this Wink. You can be high enough so that this doesn’t happen, but it’ll be so high you won’t be able to see much. This is most likely the way to prevent rooftop camping.

If I’m being persued by someone with a flying mount can I shape out, freefall, and lose them?
Yes. Freefalling is very fast and only druids can re-cast their flying ability while freefalling. The speed of freefalling is faster then an epic flying mount.

How long does it take to reach the ground if I freefall from maximum height?
It depends on which zone you’re in, but it can take up to about 20-25 seconds.

I really love it: it’s the same speed as a 70 flying mount (the cheap one), it’s instant cast, it’s hella cheaper, and it’s really awesome ^^ The funniest thing I’ve seen so far is me and a horde druid making a free-fall competition, and in one of the attempts the horde druid moonfired me while he was free falling, he died terribly because you can’t cast it while you are in combat, lolol. Something like that happened to me when I tried to heal a guildmate, tho T.T

Other than that, I’ve been a bit delayed because something personal came up on these days and it was very important :( (goodbye grandma, you rocked). Tonight I will be hitting 69 and probably tomorrow night 70. I keep saying, I love my druid ^^ I’m questing right now in Blade’s Edge Mountain, I already finished all the quests I had available in Nagrand. I also went for the very first time to Steamvault and got a very nice nice nice healing staff from one of the bosses: [item]Serpentcrest Life-Staff[/item].

I will be respeccing to full resto as soon as I get to 70.

Oh, and hi to Galyoniely (not sure if that’s his real character name), a blog reader from Archimonde server that came online yesterday to say hi ^_^

Speedy Gonzalez

Yesterday my druid hit level 67, and probably today I will get flying form ^_^

My druid went feral after all

It’s so damn cool. My feral gear wasn’t that special, but it’s rather easier to get feral items so my set is pretty nice right now. I can kill things so fast and easy that I’m amazed. I’ve also been able to get instance groups as feral, so everything is going very smoothly now (instead of having to wait for groups I just do my thing without worrying, if I can get groups good, if I can’t it’s good as well). I’m currently questing in Nagrand. Here are a couple of quests I’ve ran thru that were interesing, lol

012907-02

That was a quest in Terokkar Forest, and that’s how my druid would look if he were a horde, lolol.

012907-03

That was a quest in Zangarmarsh, and that’s probably how my druid will look tonight ^_^ I couldn’t control my character during the quest, but it was hella fun ^^

This is also another quest in Zangarmarsh

And this is probably one of the coolest things ever, a quest in Nagrand allowed me to get, for a brief time, a Nether Drake, I’m so saving for one of those now (worth 5.2k, as I’ve been told)

I’m pushing to 70 to be able to raid. Tonight my guild is going to try Karazhan. Hopefully in a couple of days I’ll hit 70 ^_^

Zing-ding-a-ling 64

Well, last night I hit Lv. 64 on my druid. I also had a chance to visit Mana Tombs, and it was rather interesting.

I was kinda scared because the instance was higher level than I was… and trust me, mobs there hit for a ton! I was being aided on healing by Aevise, and the run went smooth (but also kinda slow, hehe). The group I got in (thanks to Aross) was very good, they all did their crown control and stuff like that. By the way, I’ve updated a couple of my profiles (rpgo-Profiles, CTProfiles).

I got Lifebloom last night

Lifebloom
Rank 1
Heals the target for 273 over 7 seconds. When Lifebloom completes its duration or is dispelled, the target is instantly healed for 600. This effect can stack up to 3 times on the same target.
Heals 39 every second and 600 when effect finishes or is dispelled.

This is how it works with my gear

I don’t know about other druids, but I love it: instant cast, very low mana usage and it’s really great, imagine it stacked with a reju and a regrowth!

On other news, I’m seriously thinking about speccing feral tonight (which might be something like this). I love instancing, I’ve been able to level relatively fast and all of that, but the problem I’m facing at the moment is getting groups, I can make around 10% per instance run, and I could make an awesome amount if I can get groups, but then, most of my guild is higher level than me (because I joined TBC late) so they are doing their stuff (there are at least 6 or so 70′s already in my guild), and getting pugs (which I do) takes a bit, plus the explanaition of the instance (there’s always people that has never been there so you have to explain how the pulls work, what the mobs do and the boss fights).

For example, at my current rate I level on two days (it takes me two days to get one level). I play more or less around 6-7 hours. Lets say that instance runs take around 1 hour, if it’s a pug you have to wait until the groups are formed (so its not like you go every hour to a run). Sometimes I get 3-4 runs per night, other times I can get 5-6 runs per night.

I’ve solo quested, but given my resto spec, it doesn’t make things faster (or that’s what I think). Also I’ve been in groups with feral druids so I guess now it’s not too hard to get into groups as dps. I’ve only been feral once, a very long time ago, and I only lasted a day (didn’t like it, horde kept owning me, lol, but I never leveled with the spec).

Opinions?
