Right now my guild has enough people for two Karazhan groups, and possibly we are making a third one. Basically the first ones to level to 70 are the ones in Group 1, then the group I am is Group 2, which is being led by Phoenixscar, a Lv. 70 Mage, Co-GM of my guild. So, first week for Group 2 and we’ve managed to kill three of the bosses so far in the instance. It’s impressive, lemme tell you, all this tanking thing it’s sometimes really hard, considering that most bosses in Karazhan are undeads, so Lacerate doesn’t work with them :(

[item]Spectral Band of Innervation[/item] – Attumen
[item]Bracers of the White Stag[/item] – Attumen
[item]30666en[/item] – Trash mob
[item]Royal Cloak of Arathi Kings[/item] – Moroes
[item]Nethershard Girdle[/item] – Moroes

Dammit, I missed taking a screenshot of Maiden of Virtue T.T One of the drops we had on her was a plate tanking item. I got the [item]Royal Cloak of Arathi Kings[/item], BTW.

So, what is it to tank in Karazhan? As I’ve said before, I’ve never had experience on feral until now, and even tho I used to tank in lower instances in Outlands, still, Karazhan is different because many mobs and bosses are very aggro sensitive, and also immune to taunts and crowd control, so you have to try to keep aggro. Gear is very important, the first night we went we couldn’t down the first boss (it was last monday), that night I had around 11k HP and 10k~11k Armor (buffed, if not wrong) right now with buffs and pots I can get up to 15k HP and 24k Armor. So far it hasn’t been that “smooth” run, but you have to keep in mind that we don’t really know about mobs and/or bosses over there, for example, last night the first time we pulled mobs called Skeletal Ushers, which are on the way to the Opera House. We had to get a trick to be able to pull that out T.T But it went MUCH better on the second and onward pulls ^^ I’m also working as an off-tank, by the way.

Raid composition is very important as well, both group 1 and group 2 only have one druid and one warrior, then group 2 only has one warlock, two mages and so on and so forth.

Lets see how it goes before the instance resets :)

And hello to my friend Curian/Curain that came back to WoW, go level your shammy noob :P

Hmm, I think that’s all. What do you guys think about the colors of my blog? I made it darkish, lol. Something else is that I’ve activated Hotlinking, so if you are reading this somewhere else and the images aren’t showing up it’s because of that ^^ (unless I got that site on my aproval list).

The Rawr Bomb

Hogit mentioned me about the Rawr Bomb, what I understand is that it’s when you shift out of Flight Form and charging people mid-air. Even tho I’ve never tried it on PvP (would suck if the horde moves and you die from the fall), I did it not intentionally a couple of days ago when i was fighting a boss, and lemme tell you, it was very fun, lol.

It’s amazing how some things change

020507-01

I leveled my character from 1-64 on instances as a resto and then tried feral 65-70. It’s nice, you are able to kill things so fast, you can tank and sometimes you can heal (but with feral gear your mana blows pretty fast, tho). I’ve never really been interested on feral because once I tried it and didn’t like it (maybe I sucked on PvP, maybe my gear on that time wasn’t that good), and also because I have a rogue and I kept saying “why dps if I have a character that can dps good”.

Ever since I went feral I’ve been on cat, and bear, and it’s kinda nice. My gear isn’t that “special”, considering that what I got is mostly from instances and quests, and still, my cat can deal a ton of damage (it rocks when I can crit in a row, a couple of days ago I teared a lvl 70 with all crits, so sweet, lol, my cat has around 26% crit atm), and my bear has decent stats (I must say, I’ve never really cared about bear gear because, well, bear is slow-killing). But now I’ve been told that I might be tanking in Karazhan, which makes the whole thing interesting. I don’t really know how it will work out, lol, but hopefully it will be good.

Lets see, what else, I’ve done many instances so far (haven’t done any instance which cap is higher than 5), one of the coolest I’ve been is probably The Botanica

That’s the last boss room, very cool looking.

This is when I start jumping from event to event (things won’t have relation to each other).

020507-03

Yesterday I finally got attuned to Karazhan ([item]24490en[/item]). I’ve also been able to get the following keys: [item]27991en[/item] and [item]28395en[/item]. I’m working as well on getting the [item]31084en[/item], I just need one more shard and I’m set (it’s the one in The Mechanar).

I’ve also acquired some missile launchers for my druid ^^

And last, but not least, the instances in Netherstorm are nicely designed.

Oh, I’m also working in getting money to get one of those Swift Mounts, it might take a bit until I can gather that money, tho :(

Is this the end?

Last night I finally leveled to 70, woohooo!

020207-02

I got a bit slowed down because I was doing some instances last night, but still, I could get the last chunk I needed (which was more or less like 75% of the level). It’s funny because I’ve not even finished quests in Blade’s Edge Mountains and I’ve not gotten yet into Shadowmoon Valley nor Netherstorm.

The instances I did last night (and I think the night before) were one in Caverns of Time (Old Hillsbrad) and also tried Black Morass. Then yesterday I did Shadow Labyrinth and I don’t remember if I did some other instance.

Probably one of the kinda coolest quests I did last night was sky diving!

020207-06

Even tho I got to 70 this is not the end. I still have to finish my Karazhan key quest and get attuned to other instances. My original plan once I hit 70 was speccing back to restoration, but a couple of days ago I was told by one of the officers of the guild I am that I could probably be helpful on raid instances as feral, so I’m not really sure what is going to happen next.

We shall see.

Oh, by the way, I’ve been warned by a reader that there’s a site that is using my feeds as if the posts were made on that site. The information is from Frostbolt.com, any other site that is posting the feeds (and is not my oficial feed) is fake. I’m not talking about RSS readers, I’m referring to other blogs (specifically http://wow.consolenewsblog.com/)
