Al’ar is a really easy fight, we should have taken him down earlier but, meh, on teh first night of attempts I kept screwing up on adds 
We took him last night down (second night of attempts). Things came down really smoothly after thinking carefully what was it that I was doing wrong, things that had to be changed and stuff like that ^^

So last night it was something like Hydross, Leotheras, Al’ar and Void Reaver. Pretty much last night was very nice, all this considering that we still don’t have a stable 25m, and that there were people in the raid that didn’t know a couple of fights ^^

I have always wondered how do you look like a broken?
It’s a quest that gives you an item that makes you look like that, related to an attunement quest. The quest is called Ruse of the Ashtongue.
Why did you choose the 15 strength enchant to your gloves instead of 15 agility? I’m pretty sure agility is alot better for tanking than strength. Strength might help for generating a bit more threat but the agility is better overall imo.
@Blueice: Yeah, you are right. My T4 gloves had 15 Agility. The reason as of why they have 15 STR instead of AGI right now is because, well, I’m kinda lazy to farm for old mats ;P I have a ton of old shards, but I’m already low on one of them, so I would have to do one of those old instances to get them.
That and also I’m exalted with all main factions so I’m waiting for the patch (which should be soon I guess) to get all the AQ enchants (AGI being one of them), and already have the new mats in teh bank.
But then, lately while I’ve been tanking I’ve been getting slightly concerned about seeing this in Scrolling Combat Text:

I might still get AGI enchant, but the problem with having a too high dodge rate is that you get more crushing blows since you the boss misses normal hits (and crushings can’t be avoided).
My current dodge rate is 31.39% unbuffed, but with raid buffs (and pots) I think I’ve reached 44%.
Meh, too much thinking, but ya, what I said first is why I have strenght right now ;P

@samownall: well, new races are always fun, but then it means that you have to relevel, and at least on my side, I still have a 14 shaman, 39 warlock and a 37 (or so) mage I haven’t leveled yet, not to mention the 62 rogue that is wandering around ;P
