Yes, we did it reverse for our first kill, and I’ve been told that we are the first ones in our server to do it that way as well ^^ Supposedly doing it this way is “harder”, by doing so you get one extra epic and four sunmotes. The first guild to switch the boss order is Vodka, from Mannoroth (not sure if US or EU).

The interesting thing I can say is that someone in the raid broke the Guinness World Record for pulling the boss by error, I’ll keep the name private so HE’S NOT ASHAMED OF HIMSELF! Hahhaha.
It took us also a while longer than expected, but we could finally do it (we had a couple of close wipes a couple of weeks ago).

Grats! You beat us to it. We too are doing the Twins in reverse order for the extra loot, but haven’t had any luck with it yet. Good luck on M’uru!

Congrats.. Keep up the postings, as a level 50 with mostly gray and green items, I can only dream of these types of encounters.
I wasn’t aware of the increased loot by doing this in reverse. I am going to mention this to my guild members and suggest that we do this in reverse on our server as well. Congrats on taking them down.
It’s actually no more difficult than the other way.
In the “proper order” strat, your healers are the ones getting conflagged: particularly your MT healers. So you have to bring another healer to keep your Sacrolash tanks alive, typically.
Phase two is more involved on an individual level with the “proper way.” It’s easier if everyone knows what they’re doing, but it requires everyone getting to the designated conflag spot so people can actually reset their debuffs.
With the backwards strat, while the raid healing is a bit more intense, all you need to do to reset your shadow debuff is to step into a leftover blaze. And all your tank has to do to reset his fire debuff is stand next to the raid everytime she does shadow nova.
So it’s a lot simpler strategically, but the healing is more difficult. However, it requires about one less healer overall.
