Last night we killed Hodir, Thorim and Freya.

Freya’s trash was much easier in 25m compared to 10m.

I’m not really sure why we didn’t even try downing Ignis (so we could have the achievement for clearing that wing), but they were saying he was too easy so they wanted to keep getting deeper in the instance instead. So we were able to kill a total of 9 bosses, hopefully this week we will get a better number (a lot of them got nerfed today). The last dude (Algalon?) can’t be accessed yet.

Ten of the raid dungeon’s fourteen encounters have hard modes (different from normal and heroic modes). Algalon the Observer is a hard mode-only but optional encounter.

Most people will consider Ulduar fully cleared when Algalon is defeated, myself included. He isn’t optional in the sense of, “hey, guys — enjoy this bonus boss”, he’s actually designed to be the hardest encounter in Ulduar, and only accessible by completing a questline that requires players to complete multiple Ulduar hard modes.

I was able to get Conqueror’s Nightsong Legguards, of all discovered gear it’s the best tanking pant (if not wrong). I was thinking about regemming my tank/dps gear yesterday, but I probably won’t do it because that’s a lot of gems. But then I’ll properly gem the gear I get off Ulduar.

And then there were people saying last night that one of the top guilds of our server is probably going to transfer off this weekend, going to keep the details because it might be a spoof.

As a sidenote, those interested (and to keep reference, since we are losing talents again today because of the patch), the two specs I’m currently using are these:

• Feral Tank: 60/11
• Feral DPS: 55/16

Has been a while ^_^ I must say that I didn’t really have anything to write after my last post; nothing interesting was really happening (I didn’t read for about a month because of connection issues with my ISP, AT&T and Blizzard), and during that month, ironically speaking my guild got Immortal (but sadly that was the only time they got it).

Anyway, last night, big night, patch day 3.1 Ulduar. The server came up very late (at around 7-8 PM CST or somewhere around there), first thing we tried was the new dude in Archavon

Sadly we got there too late; only managed to pull once and after we got back they were already vanishing (because Wintergrasp was starting in 10 minutes).

Afterwards we headed to Ulduar, the first boss is pretty nice, all that tanking stuff is really fun

But you know what is the most fun thing about this? For some weird reason our instance got bugged; we were all totally lagged (moving all over but nothing else was working), but for other guilds in the server their instance was fine.

We waiting for probably two hours or so and we were still inside (no server disconnection or anything like that).

I was so bored I decided to kill myself, but the lag didn’t let me

Then I probably broke something…

At the end we didn’t really manage to see the first boss, the night was pretty frustrating for us.

And then my theory is that the patch wasn’t really ready, maybe they just released it because they were already taking too long (I think I read somewhere that Blizzard has some sort of quality control in their games, but doesn’t seem like it). If you go to mmo-champion you’d read that there are so many bugs in the instance (wasn’t there a beta test?).

This might be a QQ, but I was so looking forward to get some action after months, maybe tonight, hopefully.

If anybody is wondering, my dual spec is PvE Tank and PvE DPS. I specced something last night, was thinking about respeccing and change some stuff this morning but noticed that there was some sort of rollback and all my talents were reset, so at least I saved some Gs there ^_^
