Last night we managed to kill Mimiron, in 25-man easy mode (11 down in easy), which leaves only two boss left (General Vezax and Yogg-Saron), and then hard modes (which leads the way to Algalon, the boss that unlocks after you do all the hard modes).

I’m not 100% sure of the drops (specifically Protector) because not everything was linked, but I think I saw someone getting protector /shrugs
Mimiron has a lot of action going on during the fight, but it’s rather easy to avoid much of the stuff if you are melee, specially in Phase 4, most melee probably keeps reference of the lower part of the body (as his back), but it’s easier if you just focus in the middle, since the barrage is really dangerous; just keep turning as it turns (during the whole phase), move out for a couple of seconds when the missiles are launched (sometimes it’s hard to spot the landing location, melee wise) and it should be fine.
Keeping in mind my recent ranting about Ulduar and all the nerfs, we are currently tied #3 Alliance guild in the server, the #1 and #2 only have the next boss down, while we (and the other guild that we are tied with) are working in General Vezax. Last night was our first night of attempts but, to tell the truth, the whole fight is really a joke, Mimiron was much more harder, so maybe we will have it down tonight. The other guild (the one we are tied with) has had a couple of weeks more than us of attempts in him.
To this we’ve had two (or so) weeks of downtime, but we’re picking up. Eitherway, the truth is to be seen in hard modes.

The trash you see in his room is not linked to him; he’s alone when you fight him. Once you jump down to his room there’s no way to go back up (no stairs whatsoever, or at least that I saw last night).
