The earth shook; it was an earthquake.

As I managed to sleep last night, the apartment where I live started to shake, and we realized it was an earthquake. After the shaking was over my brother and I headed outside the building and waited to see if it was going to shake again.

This morning the newspaper say (spanish) it was a Magnitude 6.0 Richter, and this site says that it’s one of the biggest three that hit the world this week:

MAP 6.0 2009/07/04 06:49:37 9.654 -78.983 43.1 PANAMA
MAP 6.0 2009/07/03 11:00:19 25.465 -109.638 10.0 GULF OF CALIFORNIA
MAP 6.4 2009/07/01 09:30:11 34.199 25.454 19.0 CRETE, GREECE

Another link just came up in the newspaper article, it’s also in spanish, tho.

At least nothing bad happened, and it seems that, for now, there aren’t any victims or injured people reported.

Edit: Sun 11:26 PM -5 GMT We just got another one, this time it was a Magnitude 5.3.
MAP 5.3 2009/07/06 04:10:35 9.539 -78.895 30.9 PANAMA
