I’m still alive and kickin’

My last update was probably two months ago; I have to admit I’ve been a bit lazy. To tell the truth, for a couple of months I’ve been getting burnt of WoW (more info about this later on). But, since there’s maintenance right now, I thought I would finally update.

I’m just going to post stuff chronologically (I kept taking screenshots since then).

In July 16 our guild got a Val’anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings, which was in those times the second that Alliance got in our server. The lucky person was Hugetank (he’s not a tank).

Also, there was a patch by those times (I think 3.1?) and for some reason the train that went to Mimiron was bugged: some people could see it, some people couldn’t.

For people that couldn’t see the train, walking thru the bridge meant…. death. Some of us thought it was an illusion, that even if you walked you would land in the train, but we were so wrong (notice the two dead persons at the bottom).

That same night we noticed that Blizzard made a ninja change and modified slightly Mimiron’s fight: when second phase started it would look like he was opening a can with a huge can opener

Before it was just a platform with a couple of walls that came up.

During those times I also started to re-level two of my alts, my old main (rogue) and a hunter. The rogue is 75 and the hunter is 74, I decided to stop leveling them after hearing that we would be getting worgens, so I might reroll one of them. I would have liked to reroll my druid (lets admit it, probably most night elves druids didn’t really like the option of being night elves, the only reason we are it’s because there was no other choice; I really wanted to be a gnome druid in the beginning), but seeing that I would lose a ton of stuff I might just not do it.

As for Trial of the Crusader, the latest raid instance introduced in 3.2, to tell the truth the whole place is a joke, we’ve been 1 shotting all the bosses (we were the first alliance guild in the server to kill the Northrend Beasts, not like it matters, it wasn’t hard).

Altho we did wipe once to the Faction Champions, not because of the difficulty, but because we didn’t know they were going to jump down where we were standing, hehehe.

We’ve also gotten a couple Ulduar achievements and stuff like that.

Going back to the getting burnt topic, some weeks ago it was really bad, but thanks to the alliance-horde thing that Blizzard lifted, I recently started to level a horde Orc Death Knight alt (at the beginning I wasn’t sure if he should be Orc, Undead or Blood Elf), he’s 72 right now, and it’s fun (well, still getting burnt of doing quests and such, but I’ve never —ever— played a horde before nor really visited horde towns, so all this is new for me).

I must say that horde have some really interesting and fun quests, compared to alliance.

That’s a debuff of a quest in Borean Tundra, and I know it’s something old, but I never saw it by myself nor knew from where it came, hehe.

In this one you ride a tank (which moves fast) and have a bunch of skills, this is also in Borean Tundra.

There’s also a tank mission in Dragonblight for Alliance, but it’s not as fun as this one.

Oh, I was also planning into playing Champions Online, a few days ago I got a beta key for the Open Beta (which ends in a couple of days), but I’ve been kinda lazy there because I’d have to install Boot Camp, not like it’s complicated but.. zzzz. Been following up the game for two or three months, and I’m really looking forward to the game but I’ve been reading some bad comments lately about it so at this point I’m not really sure.
